The AGONG Sets the Trend
The Agong of Malaysia sets the trend by cutting down on Eidul Fitri spending. Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, wants the allocation for the Hari Raya open house at Istana Negara to be used to help the needy reported Bernama.

Free Water
The gimmick of offering people free water in politics is a BAD idea. During the last elections, there were PAS posters/banners offering to pay for school bus fares and women pregnancies. Thank God, Malaysians no longer fall for such gimmicks. In the past, it used to be roads in rural areas, electricity and water supply, then it changed to packs of rice and bottles of oil along with BRIM, Nothing comes free in life. Currently the water I receive at Ukay Perdana, Ampang is mud yellow in colour. I have a main filter outside and two other filters inside my house. This is not the way to live.
Why Should Singapore Foot The Bill?
Why should Singapore foot the bill for two mad men to meet in Singapore? They should just pay their hotol bill like everyone else or go meet somewhere else. Would the late Lee Kuan Ye do such a thing?

Malaysian Dramas on Television
The Malaysian government needs to review alL these ENDLESS drama series we have on local television. It reminds me of what PM Mahathir said recently on television. At the time he wanted to become Minister of Education because Malaysian were 'not educated'. This may sound bad but the truth is: we lack manner, discipline and good conduct. Why? Probably too many dramas, less educational programs on health, environment, good cultural values, scientific progress etc during prime time.
UMNO Open to All?
How does UMNO, a Malay based ethnic political party become 'open to all'? It can because Mahathir's father came from Kerala, India. He was Indian...BUT A REAL GOOD ONE NOW!

Taxi Drivers in Singapore
Last night we took a cab home from Golden Mile to Pasir, where we stay. This cab driver was different. He did not help us with our luggage nor was he friendly. My wife, told him politely where we want to go and what route to take but he remained silent. Along the journey, my wife and I spoke about the bad behaviour (jumping cues at customs) by many individuals. This sort of behaviour never existed during Lee Kuan Yew's time but these days its a common sight at Singapore Tuas Customs. Our cab driver who was silent all the while suddenly had a change in mood. He began to speed excessively. I believe he violated every speed limit in the KPE Tunnel. We were terrified and I don't know how many supplications we made to God. He did this all the way to our flat at Pasir Ris. Most probably seeing that we were unaffected, he started a conversation at a traffic light intersection at Tampines. He said, "So many flats, I wonder whether there are people to occupy them?" He then mentioned several places and with so many new roads you can gel lost, Look at Tampines.. We went along with him. After some time he mentioned America. He mentioned that the US told the Chinese that their naval battleship was not up to standard. "Can you imagine this! Someone telling me about my own house; its my house; I can do whatever I like!" He then condemn America of being a bully, wanting to control the world; creating a lot of mischief; destroying countries etc. He then spoke about the goodness of Communism; about the cost of fuel then and now (all related to America). By that time we had reached Pasir Ris. On taking my luggage out of the cab, I remarked jokingly, "You are a good communist." Wow! that started another conversation, this time face to face. That was when I got a good look at him. He was an elderly Chinese man, with a lot of missing front teeth bottom row! My wife later said, "I really prayed hard to God, to reach home safely." I replied, "I too did the same with a difference. I told God, 'You can teach him a lesson later on!" (7 June, 2018, 10.30 pm).
NOTE: I not quite sure whether this act by the taxi driver was real or not, considering the fact that Trump, the number one policeman of the world is about to visit Singapore.

GRAB Malaysia Full of Crap
On the whole GRAB Car serves me well BUT when it comes to REWARD, they are full of crap. I have raised this issue with them through my Facebook account. Every time I get some advise on rewards which does NOT work. You can see all these in my messages to them and their replies. Just to get RM5.00 off a trip is like hiking up Mt. Everest! They gave me some steps yesterday but it did NOT work on my cell-phone. After logging in my residence and destination, there was no Tab for step two. I still took Grab to my destination. After swearing them, they gave me another option. Today, they wanted to know details of the incident! Can you IMAGINE SUCH CRAP! I responded by saying: Go read my history....sophistication is a disease. Now I got to waste my time explaining it all over again: your bum instructions and my inability to claim RM5 off my Grab car fare.... please don't waste my time. Go improve your service; make it user friendly; cut down on the step if you really want to serve consumers!

Malaysian Constitution on Rights
I read the recent comments by Kadir Jasin on 'The King and The Pauper' and found them interesting. From my perspective, I am unclear about many things. It could be due to ignorance or it could be due to lack of clarity on what actually some features of the Constitution represent. Many aspects of our Constitution have not really been made explicitly clear and free from ambiguity. However, what I do know as a Muslim and non-Malay, that every country/nation has exclusive rights. For example, China holds the Han to be the rightful people of that nation. Likewise, Malaysia has its Bumiputra status, royalty etc. As a non-Malay, this is fine and understandable to me. Even in Islam, (I am a qualified Islamic scholar), equality takes not a different perspective. A man and a woman are equal through different rights. Therefore, when it comes to Malaysia, we are Malaysians, but let us not get carried away with equality. Even China does not tolerate such! However, what really concerns me is this: "If you claim this country to be yours, that's fine with me, but for God's sake, PLEASE do a honest job of serving this nation and the interest of all its citizens! Enough of free-loaders and self-enrichment. The world has changed and we need to adapt, but adapting does not mean giving up moral righteous principles.
